Midwifery services
Florida law requires that insurance companies pay for Home Births. Companies either pay out-of-network fees or we
will negotiate a fee with your insurance company at the in-network level. Some self-funded
companies are not governed by the current insurance laws and so
subject to policy provision. We are accepting Medicaid clients.
Self-pay clients can opt for a monthly payment plan that ends by
the 37th week of pregnancy or receive a discount for full payment
up front by the second visit or second trimester, whichever comes first. We accept major credit cards and debit cards VISA, MC, Discover, as well as personal
checks, and Money orders. We also accept payments through Pay Pal if that makes you feel comfortable to pay that way and of course cash. As doulas we accept
insurances but we are out-of-network for doula services and not all
insurances pay doula services, so we can check out your eligibility
and benefits to see if they cover doula services. If we receive
a check for payment and the check bounces there will be a fee assessed
to your invoice.

Midwife services not included in pricings
Ultrasounds are not included in the pricing, so we have a discounted rate for self-paid patients thru our contracted radiology businesses, unless you have insurance. Insurance covers prices for Ultrasound (again for the self funded policies depending on the policy) that only covers labs, not our services.
Tub rentals are not included in pricing and might be covered by insurance. For rental click here and pay for the rental of the water tub, but payment is required upfront and if reimbursed by insurance, we will refund the rental fee.
Home birth Kit is not included in the pricing. You can purchase it with the list that I give you or we have several places online where you can purchase it. Click here for the list from one of my suppliers.
Doula/HCHD service not included in pricing
The doula in a bag is not included in pricing. If you pay for ultimate doula services you will receive the personalized bag with unused products. Go to Doula in a bag and purchase the mommy bag for your doula services.
For Hypnobabies clients the price does not include the self study course. You have to go to the Hypnobabies page and purchase the self study course and additional CDs that you'll need. Example: VBAC clients purchase the 'VBAC for your success
CDs' track 1 & 2, and I recommended it. It works. Or go to the Amazon store for the ultimate package with extra CDs.
